Swam a family owned business was formed in 1980 by noted technocrat Shri. S. K. Gambhir. From the onset my father’s vision was to build a company, Based on a strong foundation of integrity, high quality and reliability. Our aim was to be the best manufacturer of blowers in India.

When I joined the company after completing my double Degree in Engineering and Business Management, Swam had already reached the point of superior manufacturing. We then strategies and made a vision to be the no. 1 in India and a leading global player.
For Swam to grow, it needed to expand and develop products that are suitable for the International markets, being aware of the perception about Indian made products. Swam is determined to become a global supplier of Blowers and Vacuum Pumps. Our focus is to develop products that are recognized as “Internationally made in India”.

The world has witnessed a transformative shift, with global associations promoting business in India. This waved a remarkable platform for Swam’s exceptional range of engineered products.
It feels proud to announce that ours products have not just earned global recognition but also catered markets in major key countries like USA, Australia, Canada, UAE, Germany, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Africa, China & many others.
This growth has catapulted Swam to the pinnacle as the largest blower company in India and ranks fifth globally. We offer world class CE certified products which are proven, energy efficient and manufactured in our state of the art plant with over 25 CNCs . Our product portfolio now includes variety of Gas blowers out of stainless steel, duplex steel, phosphorous bronze and other unique materials, with rated power up to 2MW and capacities up to 85,000m³/hr. SWAM has an in house testing facility up to 1000KW with 6.6KV testing arrangement.
Besides Positive pressure machines and Bio-Gas compressors, SWAM has gained technical expertise in Vacuum Products also like Vacuum boosters, Dry Screw Vacuum pumps, Liquid ring pumps, Oil Vane Pumps, Claw pump & Vacuum packages since last one decade.
SWAM Blowers & Pumps are widely used for various applications with variety of gases like Coke oven gas, Hydrocarbon gas Hydrogen gas, CO, CO2, SO2, Mixed inert Gas, Radioactive gases, etc. in many large Process Plants in refineries, petrochemical, Cement, Steel & Mining Industries, Oil & Gas Plants, Oxygen Plants, Pharmaceuticals and many other leading industries worldwide.
In this journey towards global excellence, Swam has garnered numerous prestigious awards and accolades. Most recently, we have been honoured with the title of “Best Green Manufacturing Facility” in India for Innovation and Technologies and “Best Business Leader” by Business Connect, a testament to our unmatched commitment showing environmental sustainability and innovative practices.
The company’s quality system is as per ISO 9001:2008 and has a very high regard for safety & environment and hence has all plants certified to ISO 9001 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Our machines are also in complete compliance with many international standards such as ISO, BS, API, CE, ATEX and others just to mention a few.
